As you have probably heard, the 2008 National Specialty will NOW be held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia. This change was made after the Tupelo, Mississippi all-breed clubs cancelled the 2008 cluster where our National was previously to be held.

The Georgia National Fairgrounds are a wonderful location for a National Specialty and are a familiar location for many of you. There are multiple large climate controlled arenas and buildings, plenty of RV parking, onsite meeting facilities, multiple hotels and restaurants, and a nearby hunt test location. The Fairgrounds are located in Perry, Georga which is a little over an hour from the Atlanta airport.

The 2008 WSSCA National Specialty will be held in conjunction with the CROSSROADS 4-day cluster of dog shows. We will be given our own ring and ringside grooming space in a climate controlled area for the entire cluster. Please view the Schedule of Events for more information on what events are offered and when they are scheduled for.

We are expecting to have a wonderful event and would cordially like to invite YOU to join us. Come on down and get "All Shook Up" at the 2008 WSSCA National Specialty!

Any DWSSCGA member who has direct contact, verbal or written, with a judge regarding his/her hiring or show planning for the National Specialty, Sweepstakes, or corresponding Supported Entries shall not exhibit or enter any owned or co-owned dogs at said event. Nor shall any member of the person's immediate household or immediate family exhibit or enter any owned or co-owned dogs at said event. (AKC Rules Applying To Dog Shows, CH 11, Sec. 13. for what constitutes immediate family) Show planning contact includes, but is not limited to, any verbal or written contact with a judge regarding:
